Subject: USA Unemployment Rate
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) employers shed about a quarter of a
million jobs in the first four months of 2008 (remember, that was under President Bush!).
President Obama recently said it's going to take time for the economy to become whole again:
"Unemployment is going to be a big problem for at least another year." The nation's
unemployment rate hit 9.7 percent in August 2009. Most economists expect it to top 10 percent
next year.

labor shortages from health care workers to librarians, farm managers, engineering managers and
environmental scientists. What does this mean? It means...
